SORR DEVIL, THIS LIFE IS RESERVED FOR GOD

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

The distinguishing mark of the Christian who is running on course is holiness. We are called to live holy lives. The idea behind holiness isn’t perfection, for none of us are, nor should we pretend to be. Holiness simply means, “Reserved for God.” It means that our lives are meant for God and should not be polluted by things that dishonor Him. John tells us to beware of carnality, materialism and self-centeredness. Don’t set your course by what pleases your flesh, fills your pocket or inflates your pride. A holy life is a life reserved for God and off limits to the devil.

JOY

Day after day, it seems there are trials that sneak into our lives, putting a damper on the day. Though my trials seem insignificant in comparison to some, I’ve seen death, unemployment, failed relationships, sickness, and abuse hit too close to home. Finding joy amidst trials is often the last emotion we expect.

Recognizing and understanding that a trial is “sent by God and serving to test or prove one’s character, faith, holiness” gives a different perspective to the “why me?” question. Per the Scripture, trials produce steadfastness, which is defined as “a patient enduring, sustaining, perseverance.” Upon understanding these two words, the trials we endure begin to take on additional meaning as related to the purpose we are each uniquely given by God.

Through trials in my life, I have learned to be steadfast and to realize that there is still joy in the everyday, that I can and will endure, and that my character will reflect Jesus more than it did before the trial if I am obedient. Ultimately, no matter the circumstance, we are instructed to continue to reflect the joy of Christ. My prayer is that no matter how big or small a trial comes across our path, we would seek comfort in Jesus alone and reflect the joy He alone can give.

Prayer: Father, give us your joy and peace even in difficult circumstances. Thank you for your promise to be with us always, and help us remember your presence during times of trial. Amen

CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Regular church attendance is important for all Christians. When we go to church it’s a place where we can receive encouragement and prayers. Fellowship in the House of God is vital for your health as well as your spiritual well-being. It keeps you focused and encourages others to run the race that is set before them. So encourage each other to attend church faithfully. It’s not only for you; it’s for others who need you.

NO DETOURS ALLOWED!

Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

Joshua 1:7 NKJV

The way to prosperity is found in His Word. How many times have we started out in the right direction only to take a detour, and we end up at a different destination, or we face a roadblock? Many Christians have started out good by obeying the Word concerning God’s prosperity. But when they don’t see the results in a “microwave” manner, they abandon God’s way and take a detour only to end up at a different destination. Take no detours and stick to God’s Word.

LIFE IS NO MASQUERADE

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another.

Everyone can discern someone who is wearing a mask. We need to be sincere in our love towards others. You show your love by your actions. We always hear about tough love, but that isn’t the only love. God’s Word says to honor one another by giving preference to each other. Esteem others higher than yourself, even if they don’t deserve it. In like manner you are allowing the fragrance of Christ to flow through you.

HOW TO AVOID DEAD ENDS

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

Proverbs 14:12 NKJV

Everyone has an opinion on how to live. They may be right in the eyes of men but not necessarily right in the eyes of God. What is easy and comfortable could lead to destruction and turmoil. The easy way is not necessarily God’s way of living. Let’s take the principles we learned from the Bible and apply it to our lives. That’s the right way and in the end, it will lead to life everlasting.

LIVING FREE FROM OFFENSE

This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.

Acts 24:16 NKJV

Your conscience is one of your greatest assets. Living in right standing with God gives you a clear conscience and the ability to live free of condemnation. It’s also important to have a clear conscience with others. It’s easier to break down relationships than to build them. So keep yourself right with others.

GOD'S REPRESENTATION N THE EARTH

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:20 (NKJV)

As a Christian you are an ambassador for Christ. You are His representation upon this earth. You may be the only representation of Jesus that people may ever meet in their lifetime. Jesus has given you the right to pray in His Name. The authority that was given to Him upon this earth has been given to us. You have the same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead. You have His resurrection power! Let’s represent Him well and fulfill our calling upon this earth by winning others to Christ and making disciples of all nations.

PERSISTENT, FERVENT PRAYER

So Peter was kept in prison, but fervent prayer for him was persistently made to God by the church (assembly).

Acts 12:5 (AMP)

Peter was miraculously delivered by the Lord. It didn’t happen just because it was God’s will. It happened because people were praying fervently and persistently to God. Believing, fervent, persistent prayers change things. It was God’s will to have Peter freed from prison so he could spread the Gospel. But just because it’s God’s will doesn’t mean it will happen automatically. As Christians we can believe the impossibilities to be made possible. To make it happen, it will require fervent prayer by God’s people.

OBEDIENCE, GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR YOUR SUCCESS

But this is what I commanded them, saying, “Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.”

Jeremiah 7:23 (NKJV)

God has a successful plan for your life! If you obey His Word and walk in His ways, it will be well with you! Jesus likened a wise person who hears His Words and obeys them to someone who builds his house upon the rock. When the storms of life come down hard upon that house, that house will stay standing strong. God has the instructions to build an amazing life. Just follow His blueprint.

LIVING FOR CHRIST

For to me, to live is Christ.

Living for Christ is having His life live through you. As Christians we have surrendered our lives to Jesus. We take on His nature, His character, and His calling into our lives. We have been redeemed and purchased with His precious blood that was shed for us on Calvary’s Cross. We belong to Him, and He belongs to us. Allow His life to reflect in you, and let the light of Christ shine brightly. Then you can say, “for me to live is Christ.”

WHAT DOES FAITH LOOK LIKE

And so it happened just as the Scriptures say, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God.

James 2:23 (NLT)

God looks at your faith (belief and actions). Are you like Abraham? Because of his faith, God counted him as righteous, being in right standing and obeying Him. Abraham believed God, kept the commands of God and served God. The assurance that we have as we walk by faith, is that God watches over His Word to perform it in our lives. He will never fail you, and His Word (promises) will never fail.

IN CHRIST, THERE ARE NO MEANINGLESS BATTLES

Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defiled the armies of the living God.

This verse is David’s response to the harassment of the Philstine. Because of his past experiences, David was well acquainted with God’s power to deliver. God has always been with you, and He will continue to be with you. Furthermore, as He did with David, He will use your past experiences for your next assignment. There is a reason why you went through what you had to go through. The plan of God is bigger than what we can see ahead of us. God can take your test and make it into your testimony. Be encouraged! What you went through in the past, God can use for His glory!

LIVE READY

Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

2 Timothy 4:2 NKJV

You never know when an opportunity may come your way to share your faith with others. As you live your life being an example to others, God will open up doors of opportunity so you can be a blessing and give them a reason for the hope you have. Remember to always testify about God’s goodness in your life. Be ready to always give an answer for your faith. Others are looking for the same hope that you have.

IT'S TIME TO TURN UP THE HEAT

And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while [Jesus] talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”

Luke 24:32 NKJV

How do you stay “hot” for God? The hearts of the two disciples, who walked with Jesus on the Emmaus road after His resurrection, burned within them. What did Jesus talk about? He “opened the Scriptures” to them. If you need His fire to rekindle your heart, spend time in prayer and reading His Word. It will revive your heart and put a fire in you!

GET IN THE GAME! IT"S A GUARATEED WIN

God has already given you the victory! Jesus had fought the battle of the ages when He defeated the devil on the Cross. When He was resurrected, the angels, no doubt, gave a victory shout! You are seated with Christ in heavenly places and you have been made joint-heirs with Him!

Are you willing to serve the Lord? Christians often hide behind excuses of not being equipped or trained to serve the Lord. God looks for a willing heart. A lot of great men and women who did amazing things for the Lord didn’t have the experience of training. All they had was a willingness to serve. Are you willing?

A LESSON IN CONTENTMENT

Contentment is a powerful state to be in. When you are content, you will not be controlled by the outside influences or the inward desires. When you are content, there is great peace and satisfaction. Dissatisfaction and uncontrolled appetites can lead to compulsive behavior. This in turn leads to greediness, selfishness, worry and frustration. Paul says, “I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.”

A JOURNEY TO THE PALACE

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

God can turn your bad situations into a favorable condition. Joseph was mistreated by his brothers and endured the pain of being sold as a slave in Egypt and then thrown in prison. Later, God used Joseph to save the whole country of Egypt and his very own family from a famine. Don’t despise what you have to endure. God can turn the lemons in your life to lemonade.

BEFORE YOU START, FIND OUT WHERE YOU'RE GOING

My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.

Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of God.” When you honor God and His Word in the morning, your whole day will have the right perspective. The Bible says that if you acknowledge Him in all your ways, He will direct your steps. Don’t go on your busy day without the Lord’s direction. Seek Him in the morning in prayer and by reading His Word; it will make a world of difference.

ARE YOU IN THE CORRECT LANE?

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.”

John 4:34 NKJV

We all have a purpose in life. Many Christians are confused about finding their purpose and are looking for fulfillment. They usually have their own ideas of what they should be doing, and it’s different from what the Lord intended them to do. If you want to be successful and live your life to the fullest, you need to know what God’s purpose is for you.

PAY IT FORWARD

You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV)

The Macedonian Christians gave generously to the Apostle Paul so that he could in turn bless others. Paul tells them that they will be made rich in every way so that they can be generous on every occasion. Their generosity resulted in others thanking God and giving Him glory. God in return, blesses them abundantly so the cycle only increases.

THERE IS TRUE WEALTH IN THE WORD

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgements of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

His Word is your compass to navigate you through the stormy seas and avoid the shipwrecks in life; it’s also a lighthouse to guide you in your way. Many have sought for the riches of this world only to have a shipwrecked life. The value of His Word is worth far more than the riches of this world. If you want to possess abundant living, you need to follow the directions from the Word of life.

HEY! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING

Therefore let him who things he stands take heed lest he fall.

Pride comes before a fall. Humility will keep you under the covering of God. When you walk in humility, you are recognizing the Lordship of Jesus over you. His Lordship brings wisdom and grace, mercy and strength. God knows there are pitfalls in life; so if you want to avoid a set-back, walk upright according to His Word.

WIELD A WEAPON OF MASS TRANSFORMATIOM

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

Acts 1:8 NKJV

An important key to living a victorious Christian life is to have the power of the Holy Spirit working in you. The Greek word used for “power” in this passage is the word, dunamis. It’s the same word where we get “dynamite.” The Holy Spirit brings an explosive power to your life so that you can conquer the obstacles that are set before you and fulfill God’s will for your life. The “dynamite” power is there to help you walk in His ways and to fulfill your ministry upon this earth with total victory!

GET THE CREATIVE JUICES FLOWING

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Have you ever felt like you were in a “dead end” situation? You’ve looked at all your options, and you still don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel? Your doctors may have diagnosed you with an incurable disease, or you may be facing a huge financial deficit. No matter what you are facing, you have a God that specializes in creative miracles. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Just look at all the creative miracles He performed in the Bible. His nature is to create. All you have to do is believe and receive!

IF YOU ONLY KNEW

I [Jesus] have made Your [the Father] very being known to them – Who You are and what You do and continue to make it known, so that Your love for Me might be in them exactly as I am in them.

John 17:26 (TMB)

The same way that your Heavenly Father loves His Son is the same likeness and intensity with which He loves you! The love that filled the heart of Jesus is the same true love that God brings into your life. You don’t have to wait for an emotion to come your way, you just need to receive His love and believe that God accepts you into His very own heart. You are one of God’s own.

PROBLEMS? COULD OU BE THE ANSWER?

If you see some brother or sister in need and have the means to do something about it but turn a cold shoulder and do nothing, what happens to God’s love? It disappears. And you made it disappear.

God had to pay a price by sending His One and Only Son to suffer and die on the Cross for our sins. To share God’s love with others, it will cost you something too. There are people out there who are praying for answers. God may be speaking to you and giving you the opportunity to demonstrate His love towards them. Will you make a difference or will you let God’s love disappear?

BLESSINGS MINUS THE BAGGAGE

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

There are a lot of people who are wealthy with this world’s riches, and yet they are filled with sorrow. Peace escapes them, and they are targets of lawsuits and harassments. God’s blessing doesn’t come with any baggage. His blessings are true riches that will only add to your life. He wants you to enjoy and have a fulfilled life in Him.

FILL UP ON JOY

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

John 16:24 (NKJV)

God wants your joy to be full! Jesus tells us to pray and ask the Father in His Name so that you can receive from Him. He wants to meet you every need. All you have to do is ask your Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus. There is great power in that Name, and He has given you the right to use it, and make your request known so that your joy may be full!

DO WHAT? GO WHERE?

So they assured Joshua, saying, “All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.”

A servant of the Lord Jesus Christ willingly yields his life to His authority for the purpose of fulfilling His will. He understands that by being under authority he possesses God’s authority for he no longer goes in his own name and his own purposes, but he goes in the Name of the Lord to fulfill the Lord’s will. There is power, peace, provision and protection when you are under His covering!

BE DEVOTED TO YOUR CALLING

I urge you, brethren – you know the household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints – [...]

The household of Stephanas was the first to follow Christ in Achaia. Their devotion to Christ wasn’t just for the parents. Every one of them had devoted themselves to Christ and to the ministry of the saints. Ministry isn’t just for certain individuals who feel “called.” Ministry is an expression of gratitude for what the Lord has done for you.

LESSONS FROM THE PAST

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your doings; I ponder the work of Your hands.

Sometimes the greatest lessons are those that have happened in the past. If you would like to know what God can do for you, just look at what He did for mankind through His Word. Or just look at what He has done for you. Remember how He healed your body and saved your soul from destruction. When you meditate on all His doings, you will see that you serve a mighty God and that nothing is impossible for Him!

GOD ALWAYS KEEPS HIS WORD

Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses.

God always keeps His Word! The Bible says that, “He is not a man that He should lie.” When God gives His Word to you, it’s as good as done! The Word of God is what He has given you and the Bible says that, “All of the promises of God are yes and amen!” When you know that God keeps His Word, there is a rest in your spirit that it’s as good as done!

FIX THOSE BROKEN THOUGHTS AND YOU WILL MEND A LIFE

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.

Hebrews 3:1 (NIV)

God wants you to experience His abundant life. With so many distractions trying to get your attention and cause you to lose your focus, God reminds us that we need to fix our thoughts on Jesus. The enemy knows that if you focus on the cares of this life, you will lose focus on the One who gave you life. In everything you do, keep Him in your thoughts and you will see life through His perspective.

IT'S TIME TO SHINE

And those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

You will be remembered forever when you lead others to Christ. You will be remembered by those whose lives have been redeemed and set free from the cruelty of sin. God will also make your life shine like the stars as they light up the darkened sky. As you turn many to the Lord, the Lord will increase you more and more.

God has called us to be difference makers and to stand out and shine bright in this world. Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Live your life with purpose and choose to make a difference in your world today!

THE BUSINESS OF BEING A BLESSING

God blesses you, so you can share His blessing with others. He wants you to share in the joy of His business in being a blessing. Whether you received a material blessing or the joy of good news, God wants you to be a blessing. You are blessed to be a blessing, and God has found a vessel that He can work through when He blesses you.

WATCH YOUR ENEMY RUN

Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

God has given you the authority and power to put the devil to flight from your life! Some Christians want God to take care of the devil for them. Well, God already defeated the devil over 2,000 years ago when Jesus died on the Cross. The devil has no power over you. You resist him by commanding him to go from you in the Name of Jesus!

IT'S TIME TO YIELD

Therefore submit to God.

James 4:7 (NKJV)

God wants to place His covering over you. He wants you to dwell in His presence where there is fulness of joy. He wants you to dwell in an atmosphere of faith. When you submit your heart to Him, and choose to live by His ways, you will be made aware of the power and authority He has made available to you.

IF IT'S NOT GOOD, IT'S NOT FROM GOD

Every good thing and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

James 1:17 NIV

God only gives gifts that are good and perfect. He doesn’t give sickness or disease. He doesn’t give you poverty or lack. He gives you health and healing, provision and protection. He gives you wisdom and strength, favor and blessings. God hasn’t changed His mind, and He hasn’t changed His Word. You have a perfect God who gives only good and perfect gifts to His children.

DON'T SETTLE FOR SOME, GET IT ALL

Look to yourselves (take care) that you may not lose (throw away or destroy) all that we and you have labored for, but that you may [persevere until you] win and receive back a perfect reward [in full].

God wants you to receive a perfect reward in full! You’ve heard it before, “when the going gets tough, the tough get going.” Most people quit right before they get their significant breakthrough. Usually when we are facing our greatest challenge, our greatest breakthrough is right around the corner. Winners never quit, and quitters never win. God wants you to persevere until you win!

PEACE THAT NEVER FADES

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.

Peace is strength to all who possess it. Peace cannot be bought nor taught. Peace only comes by the peace giver, Jesus Christ. His peace passes all reasonable understanding; it quiets the soul and soothes the conscience. You qualify for His peace by committing yourself totally to Him. Do not place your trust in uncertain riches, but hope confidently in Him.

STAY CONNECTED, AND BE SUCCESSFUL

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

God wants you abundantly blessed and fruitful in every way. If you want to be fruitful and prosper in your life’s assignment, you need to stay deeply connected with the Lord. Apart from Him and His ways of doing things, you will only be able to reach a certain level of success. Abide in Him, and He can multiply the fruit of your labor.

YOU BELONG TO GOD

Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.

Psalm 100:3 (NIV)

You belong to Him! The Bible says that you are in the palm of His hands, and no one can remove you from His presence. Jesus said that the Good Shepherd lays down His life for His sheep. As a Shepherd who is willing to give His life for those He cares for, He will also lead you to a place of safety and provision.

GET SOMEONE TO AGREE WITH YOU

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

A victorious Christian who overcomes in this life has prayer as part of his lifestyle. Prayer is your lifeline to the throne of God. The prayer of agreement is having someone agree with you in your prayers. Your prayers become more powerful as the both of you release your faith to change your situations.

REAL WISDOM

And he who wins souls in wise.

As a Christian, our nature is to win others to Christ. Those who win souls are wise. They are wise in the way they live and conduct themselves knowing that their lifestyle is an open epistle (letter) for all to read as a witness and testimony for Christ. A soul winner constantly relies on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and lives his life on purpose, not aimlessly. A Christian is always looking for an opportunity to share his faith!

SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Jesus never changes! The miracles you read in the Bible, He is still doing today, all over the world. He is still a healing Jesus! He is still a saving Jesus! He is still the miracle working Jesus! He is still the providing Jesus! He will not fail you! Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What He did before, He can do again!

BE STRONG AND STAND FIRM

The people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].

God wants you strong and standing firm in your faith! He has a plan and a future for you. He wants you to fulfill your dream and the calling He has placed on your life. You can’t live the dream life in your own strength. Seek His presence, and desire to know HIm intimately so that God’s power can flow through you.

POWER, LOVE, AND A SOUND MIND

For God has not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Fear is not from God. Fear comes from your enemy who has no authority over you. Satan uses fear to stop you from obeying God and stepping out in faith. He knows that your breakthrough comes by stepping out in faith. He knows that for you to get your miracles, you need to launch your faith in His Word. That is why God has give you power, love, and a sound mind, so you can receive everything the Lord has for you.

GET IN ON THE SECRET

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV)

God wants to fellowship with you so he can make known to you great and mighty things. We are often looking for a new idea for our business or a better strategy to execute our plans. We search for the secret ways on how to influence people and close the sale. The secret things belong to the Lord, and He wants to reveal them to you so you can fulfill your destiny.

BE COURAGEOUS, AND LET GOD FIGHT YOUR BATTLES

⁷ “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him. ⁸ With him is an arm of flesh; but with usis the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

2 Chronicles 32:7-8 (NKJV)

The Word of the Lord is true for you just as in the days of King Hezekiah. Satan may have planned his attack upon your life but be encouraged, there are more with you than those against you! It is the Lord your God who goes out before you to fight your battles! So rejoice in the Lord your God for it is He who gives you the victory!

CULTIVATE A NATURE TO SERVE

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. 

Mark 10:45 (NKJV)

The nature of our Lord is to serve. He served while He was walking the earth. He served by ministering to the sick and teaching the poor. He served by praying for others and delivering those who were possessed. In like manner it is in our nature to serve. When we serve others, we follow in the footsteps of the greatest servant of all, Jesus.

NEVER DISCOUNT THE POWER OF THE WORD

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV)

God has equipped you for every good work through His Word. You don’t have to feel inadequate any longer. Everything you need to equip yourself is found in the scriptures. The Word will have you thinking right. It will give you the right perspective. It can change your attitude and point you in the right direction. Don’t discount the power of the Word!

NURTURE AN APPETITE FOR THE WORD OF GOD

But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. 

Psalm 1:2 (AMP)

The Psalmist understood the importance of delighting in and desiring the Word of God if one is to become fruitful and prosperous in this life. God doesn’t show any favoritism to anyone. His Word will work for you as it did for others. If you want to succeed in life and become fruitful in your ways, habitually meditate upon the Word. It will work for you.

THERE IS A REST IN FAITH

It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know He enjoys giving rest to those He loves?

Psalm 127:2 (TMB)

There is a rest in faith. Too often we try to accomplish things in our own abilities and strength. We take things on without acknowledging our God and inviting Him into our lives. We end up being “worry warts” and become irritable to those around us. Allow God into your daily decisions and responsibilities, cast all your cares upon Him and He will give you rest. He will refresh you and energize you. He enjoys giving your rest.

Visible Faith

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

Mark 2:5 (NKJV)

Four friends lowered the paralytic through the roof of a house so that their friend could get to Jesus, and He saw their faith. Faith moves the hand of God. The paralytic was forgiven of his sins and made completely whole and he walked out of the house in his own strength. Do you need a miracle today? Show God your faith by acting on and believing His Word concerning your situation. Press on through for your miracle is on the other side of your obedience!

Breakthrough is Right Around the Corner

For the eyes of The Lord are upon the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), and His ears are attentive to their prayer. 1Peter 3:12 (AMP)

God listens to your prayers! He hears the prayers of those who made Jesus their Lord. Keep praying and believing in faith for His promises to be manifested in your life. You are never out of His sight and out of His reach. So keep pressing forward because your breakthrough is right around the corner!

Giving, the Lifestyle of Blessing

And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Acts 20:35 (NKJV)

God is the source of every blessing! He is our Endless Provider, and He meets our every need. It’s wonderful to receive His blessings into our lives, but Jesus said there is a greater blessing than receiving. It is more blessed to give! When you give, you will receive a greater blessing upon your life. Make giving your lifestyle and you will experience a life with greater blessings!

Perfection

I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Philippians 3:12-14 NLT

Paul says that his goal is to know Christ, to be like Christ, and to be all Christ has in mind for him. This goal absorbs all of Paul's energy. This is a helpful example for us. We should not let anything take our eyes off our goal-knowing Christ. With the single-mindedness of an athlete in training, we must lay aside everything harmful and forsake anything that may distract us from being effective Christians. What is holding you back?

Reflect On The Word Of GOD

The Lord wants to reveal His heart through His Word to you. He wants you to receive insight and revelation regarding what His Word says about every situation you are facing. God has an answer for every problem. But to receive His answer you need to reflect on His Word. God wants you to have the necessary insight about His Word for every problem you face so that you can come out victorious in all of your ways.
